After the Retreats in 2023 and 2022, which were such fulfilling and life-changing experiences for all the women who participated, and considering the huge request to re-join, I decided to host the Rising Women Retreats twice in 2024.

The Place: Bab Zouina

Bab Zouina is the place where magic happens. A green paradise, blending modern amenities with traditional Moroccan Riads. Nestled in the Ourika Valley at the foot of the Atlas Mountains, it offers deep relaxation and restful sleep amidst olive and fruit trees and beautiful gardens. With just one Wi-Fi spot, it’s a detox haven. Take a dip in the pool to cool down.

Delicious plant-based food

Indulge in Moroccan Cuisine, freshly cooked every day with dedication and passion by local women, served with love at the table and presented like art on a plate. At Bab Zouina’s terraces and rooftops, we Rising Women dine like queens and princesses, celebrating delicious and wholesome meals in a harmonious atmosphere.

Our cuisine is mostly vegan (with some vegetarian options), organic, regional, seasonal, and dairy-free. Enjoy daily freshly pressed juices, freshly baked bread, and homemade almond butter. Throughout the day, savor fruits, nuts, tea, and coffee.

For those interested, we offer an Intermittent Fasting Option (approximately 16 hours of fasting and 8 hours of food intake).

Prices are per person and include the entire retreat program, all yoga supplies, a 6-night stay (7 days) at Bab Zouina and its gardens, personalized airport pick up (both ways), a hiking trip to the Atlas Mountains, one Hammam treatment, access to the pool, gardens, terraces, and tennis court, as well as daily fresh and wholesome brunch and dinner, juices, nuts, dates, tea & coffee throughout the day.
Excluded from the package are flights and additional activities.

How do I travel best?

Arrive at Marrakesh Airport. From there, we’ll take care of everything for you. The transfer from the airport to Bab Zouina takes about one hour and is included in our service. It’s advisable to book your flight early for better options. In the past, I’ve found and booked some direct flights from Berlin, Copenhagen, and Basel to Marrakesh. I suggest using Google Flights to find the cheapest and best flights. Tip: Sometimes it’s even cheaper to book two one-way flights with different airlines (to Marrakesh and back).

When should I arrive best? Can I come earlier or depart later?

It would be best if you arrive in the afternoon. Upon arrival at Bab Zouina, you can enjoy a snack or lunch and tea before our program starts around 5 PM. However if this is not possible, we will adapt our schedule around your arrival. You also have the option to arrive earlier or depart later, extending your stay at Bab Zouina, which I highly recommend from the heart.

I am a Yoga Beginner. Is this retreat suitable for me?

Yes! Yoga will be a part of this retreat, an important one, but there are no requirements. I am super happy to introduce you to the world of yoga. So far, we’ve had complete yoga beginners and yoga teachers attending the same retreat, and it went beautifully for all of them. We had women aged 18 to 40 attending the retreat, some with chronic illnesses like Rheumatoid Arthritis. In this retreat, I adapt my classes and teachings to the energy of the group.
